Bearer of Bad News

My mom always said I took pleasure in giving people bad news. I relished it. Maybe so, but I can't think of any other reason I would put anything pertaining to this guy on my blog (or anywhere else).

Michael Jackson Dies

My condolences to Valerie.

  1. You are so mean! I don't need another person making fun of me while I wallow in my grief!

  2. Not making fun... you're just the only one I know who would be grieving. Just cause I don't like him doesn't mean that other people don't.

  6. Laughing?! Geez, Lindey...I don't know what to say to that...I wasn't crushed or anything, but I certainly don't make it a habit to laugh when people die =P

  7. Just so Lindey doesn't feel all alone, Kimmi cheered. Which, of course, I had to comment on. Ya'all know I'm not a MJ fan or Val would never have been able to walk out the door with his CD. I think I was probably happy to see it go. In fact, she might be half the reason I'm so not a fan. However, he was a person. And he does have people who really love him (other than obsessed fans). And laughing or cheering seems a little crass. Although I think that response is mostly to the decades long hype and behavior of the obsessed fans, rather on the death of the man himself.

Wow, a novel. You'd think I didn't have anything else to do with my time.
