The first Christmas song that Kaelyn learned was You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.
My community choir is singing that song this year. But we are also singing 6 other songs and I probably sang them all equally. Yet it wasn’t Rudolph she cared about. It was Grinch. She asks for Grinch. A lot. It’s actually pretty funny that it’s her favorite song.
She also doesn’t care about watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Unless it is that song.
Jared and I started singing tons of other Christmas songs to try to encourage her to know more. She picked a second favorite: Jingle Bells.
Otherwise, she could care less.
